Integrated Portfolio Solutions said its new offering will make it easier for investment advisers and private client firms to find and access alternative investments.
Alongside product developers and investment experts who have access to alternative asset classes such as private equity and hedge funds, the Sydney-based platform has created customized investment solutions for clients.
“This access to private markets is then integrated into our portfolio administration and reporting service, which provides a single view of the portfolio and has all the benefits of a platform without limitations,” said Integrated’s head of private markets, Jeremy Ellis.

“By enabling the provision and reporting of alternative investments in combination with the reporting and administration of more traditional assets, we completely remove the burden created by having more client assets held outside the platform and administration involved in alternative investments.
"We replace the headache of managing back office portfolio administration with the satisfaction of knowing that wherever you decide to invest your client's portfolio, we've got you covered."
Mr Ellis said advisers and clients were turning to growth and yield from non-traditional sources due to concerns about rising inflation, with "rising proportions of alternative assets in the portfolios of high net worth investors (HNWI) across the board".
“Our private markets offering is a recognition that directly owned assets will continue to grow. It is not unusual to see anywhere between 20 per cent and 50 per cent of HNWI portfolios being invested in alternative assets,” said Mr Ellis.
"In fact, of the $10 billion that Integrated Portfolio Solutions administers, almost $3 billion is already invested in alternative assets, and we expect that share to grow significantly."
