spartan resources (ASX:SPR) A new high-grade gold discovery has been confirmed at the Freak Gold Prospect, located just south of the Pepper Gold deposit at the Dalgaranga Gold Project in Western Australia. This is the third major high-grade discovery at a site that is evolving into an important exploration hub.

The latest results from diamond drilling at Freak include the following notable intercepts:

  • 10.26m at 5.37g/t gold from 520.56m (including 2.31m at 13.67g/t).
  • 7.43m at 5.30g/t gold from 597.46m.
  • 20.95m at 2.70g/t gold from 514.76m.

These results are consistent with the geological characteristics of the adjacent Nevernever and Pepper deposits, including similar rock types and alteration styles. New mineralization remains open in all directions and intensive multi-rig drilling is underway to delineate this high-grade zone.

Simon Lawson, interim executive chairman of Spartan Resources, said: “Our team’s third gold discovery is another incredible achievement for Spartan and its shareholders. Juniper’s decline continues steadily. Therefore, it will not take long to establish a location for underground drilling.” and accelerate the speed and accuracy of resource drilling and underground exploration. ”

The company is also developing underground mining infrastructure, with more than 550 meters of the Juniper Dike line already completed. Underground excavation is expected to begin in early 2025.

The Dalgalanga Gold Project, which includes the Nevernever and Pepper deposits, has already established high-grade resources totaling over 2.4Moz gold.
