The Advisor Innovation Summit is back in 2022. with the aim of introducing advisers to the latest trends in fintech, innovation and digital transformation.
Taking place over two days, 1 and 8 June 2022, the conference is designed to make sense of the latest financial buzzwords and trends, including the metaverse, decentralized finance and finfluencers, taking a deep dive into their impact on advice practices and future business operations.
During the meeting, financial advisors, fintech consultants, CEOs and business owners will hear from a variety of speakers about what the metaverse and decentralized finance are and how they can shape the future of advisors.
Additionally, Major General (retd) Dr Marcus Thompson, former Australian Defense Force Head of Information Warfare, will provide insight into how businesses can manage the ever-increasing financial risk of cyber intrusion, detailing technology strategies and solutions that can be implemented to prevent cybersecurity threats.
Speakers at this year’s summit also include founder of machine learning company Flamingo AI and advisor on responsible technology and the future of work, Dr Catriona Wallace; Channel 9 financial commentator, Canna Campbell; money mentor Adele Martin; and eInvest Australia Managing Director Camilla Love.
Advisers will also hear from Advice Revolution founder Adrian Patty and Volt Bank Australia Chief Customer and Partnerships Officer Andrew Clouston on how to use open banking to access their clients’ finances in a cyber-safe environment and benefit from the new user Data Rights Policy.
