4D medical (ASX:4DX)Melbourne-based respiratory imaging technology leader has signed an agreement with Perth Radiology Clinic (PRC) to implement XV technology-enabled ventilation reporting across 16 clinics in Perth.

XV technology dynamically measures and visualizes airflow within the lungs, allowing clinicians to detect respiratory failure earlier and with greater sensitivity. This technology provides unprecedented diagnostic insight compared to traditional imaging methods by providing detailed region-specific data on lung function. XV Technology powers 4DMedical’s FDA-cleared XV Lung Ventilation Analysis Software (XV LVAS) and its CT-enabled counterpart, CT LVAS, which uses existing hospital infrastructure.

PRC is Western Australia’s leading diagnostic imaging provider, serving much of the Perth metropolitan area. The partnership between the two companies was facilitated by 4DMedical’s presentation at the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) Annual Scientific Meeting, where the clinical benefits of the XV technology received strong support from thoracic radiologists in China. Ta.

Under this agreement, PRC will provide both CT LVAS ventilation reports via standard computed tomography infrastructure and XV LVAS reports using fluoroscopy. These advanced diagnostic insights, like 4DMedical’s other partnerships, are delivered in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model. The contract runs until September 30, 2025.

Professor Andreas Fouras, CEO and Founder of 4DMedical, said: “We are pleased to partner with PRC, a leader in diagnostic imaging in Western Australia. This collaboration highlights the value and demand for XV technology in enhancing respiratory diagnostics. We look forward to supporting China in providing care to the Perth community.”
